Mid Term Madness Part I

It is unknown how I am truly feeling at this point of the year but I am feeling something seeing as I'm writing on this blog with emotional intentions.

I'm sure everyone (except those juniors... blerrry juniors!) is feeling some intense pressure i.e. trying to catch up a weeks worth of anything. The gods of assignments have not been smiling upon me and some of my fellow classmates.

On the other hand... More things to look forward to in the upcoming weeks and next term:

  • Bike to school month!
  • A student run Glee Club to rival the choir.... Joy! I mean... Glee!
  • 40 Hour (awesomely led) famine!
  • Year 13 Drama!
  • Year 12 Drama!
  • Finishing assignments!
To end on this brief but pert post, I add this photo of THE COOLEST Year 13 drama class obeying their leader/teacher The Nelson...

Can you feel the love?

Monday, February 22nd. - Be Humble Day.

I kid you not. It actually is Be Humble Day today.

Beautiful days begin with beautiful hugs. As you can see, the Blue Sky god has decided to smile upon my three friends therefore promising a day of excitement for all.

I am making a promise to myself and to you - dearest reader - that I will minimize photo usage and stick with a maximum of three... Hehehee... See what I did there? It's a parallel-ish sentence...

Never mind then...

To get to this point in the day:

...requires explanation of several other events which I consider of great importance to the dynamics of Be Humble Day.

7:22am - Dropped Alisa off at academy training.
7:44am - Arrived at Nicola's house to borrow gear for my own physically educational class.
8:02am - Met Monique to perform Taurewa duties - Rest in Home (R.I.H) - Mrs. Brown.*
8:45am - Form class
8:50am - Secret meeting in Whare.
9:05am - Period One: Economics.
10:05am - Period Two: Classics.
10:11am - BLAZER AND TIE TIME.
11:15am - ASSEMBLY TIME.
12:09pm - Time photo was taken.

*Mrs. Brown is sick. This wonderful lady who ensures we all do not DIE BECAUSE OF COTTON is resting at home for a week which in Taurewa room time... is forever...

Overall, I must say, although the assembly was jam-packed with youth workers, sports notices and some... thing, what was it? Oh... That announcement of prefects... Ah, yes, that too... I must say, it was an assembly to remember :)

I am going to leave you with this image of two botz prefects who have decided to take a nostalgic picture of themselves on their first after school detention duty. What ridiculousness.

JOKES. Nicola Thomas is my LIFE. You, reader are my LIFE. Let's all go and enjoy LIFE.

In the beginning...

Although not quite in the beginning.

Hello to you esteemed visitor. Today is a good day. It is a good day because I have decided to be pro-active and nostalgic (I am very nostalgic) and create a blog that will record Avondale College 2010 from my eyes.

The date is Saturday, February the 20th. My first day of being a Year 13 student was actually on Wednesday, February the 3rd and a lot, no, a whole bloody lot, has happened since. Regrettably, I didn't start early on, but an intelligent, equally nostalgic person will tell you... it's never too late.

So here goes. Hope you follow this, because *spiritual, wisdom voice* you are a part of this...
