Here we finally are. Everyone nursing themselves back into reasonable condition, uploading photos plagued by red eye and generally reiterating the degree of sexiness of everyone. However, there's more to the ball than just the ball... There is the before and of course the after.
Before
Set my alarm for 8am ready for a fun time with the amazing ball committee and deans. Of course, like everyone else, I wasn't actually ready for the ball. It's like putting on a play. You know your lines, you're blocked and what not... It's just pulling it off overall.
I went over to Geoff's Emporium on Dominion Road in hope they had some peacock feathers for my last minute hair slash Dan's feather in pocket. Thank goodness random Asian shop had them - that and 60 pencils for cheap!
I am also pleased to say I am quite familiar with the Mt. Eden area now. I love signs! I realised that Eden Park was just down the road perfect! Headed into gate five at around 10:30am to find an amazing arch and fairy lights all set up. Very beautiful.
I put out about ten bowls and filled them with water before I had to gap at 11:30am to get my very last minute stuffs at St. Lukes. Necklace, body butter, chicken cordon bleu sub... Y'know, the staples... Can you believe I did all of this and got home for my make-up by 12:10pm?
I was all ready by 2pm which, in hindsight was a good time to finish actually... Gave me one hour to do a bit of facebooking, get into my dress and pack for the night... Arrived at Dan's at 4pm and headed to Nicola's for some nice photos at 5pm.
Finally, the end of beginning (that's right... the other way around!) - Sarah's Pre-Ball. I am so glad I arrived in time to see that nifty, amazing ride... Well done! Great company, great atmosphere, great chicken fingers...

I am amazed and know not what to say. Everyone was stunning. Like I say, I wish we could have broken the regent crowns into 520 pieces for everyone...
Photo line was very, very busy this year. I have to say, there wasn't even a break during the 'cool down' times e.g. during dinner and during mean as dance times. Very pleased to take photos with: thaa gurls (eh, I'll never say that again...),Gino!, my head brothers and sisters, my favouritestestest sixth formers and my so called date Dan (jokes... love!). Of course, roaming photographer was a really nice touch this year.
